Teaching Systematic Innovation at Trinity College Dublin.
We are approaching the end of the development and delivery of the backbone of a training module based on systematic innovation methods aimed at undergraduate engineers. This will probably be evolved into a 'bootcamp'-style executive learning programme in the near future

2009 in retrospect; 2010 in prospect.
We were busy throughout 2009 working for the Irish Dept of Environment, two healthcare multinationals, SME's in the food, building access control and HVAC industries as well as teaching, training, filing three patents and co-investing in strong IP.

We see increasing interest in Ireland of the Patent Royalty Scheme, perhaps as a consequence of the winding down of property-related tax incentives and rising tax rates. Shibumi is promoting an integrated package of invent-to-order, patenting and product development services to help Irish-resident high nett worth individuals capitalise on this.

Training in Systematic Innovation and network development is scheduled for April at Schull Campus.
We plan to continue investing in commercialising our own patent portfolio in the HVAC and cleantech area by building outsourced manufacturing and marketing businesses to operate our patents.
